# Connect Antigravity

Human in the loop approvals for Antigravity. Set rules for what runs automatically, and send the rest to your team to approve or deny.

Human in the loop approvals for Antigravity. Let Antigravity work on its own, and have a person approve the actions that matter.

[withHuman](https://withhuman.ai) checks every tool call Antigravity makes against your approval rules before it runs, in the `agy` CLI and the desktop app. Routine calls go straight through. The rest wait for someone on your team to approve or deny them.

You can write rules like:

> Let Antigravity refund customers up to $20 automatically. Send larger refunds to the support team to approve first.

## What you can do

- **Hold the calls that matter.** Let reads run, and hold emails, deploys, refunds and record changes for a person.
- **Approve from anywhere.** Review requests in the web app, Slack, Discord, email or the withHuman phone app for iPhone or Android.
- **Ask the right people.** Send requests to teams, with escalation levels and working hours.
- **Decide routine calls automatically.** Approve or deny them with your own webhook, or with an AI judge.
- **Give Antigravity your tools.** Antigravity uses them through the withHuman MCP gateway, without their credentials.
- **Use one set of rules for every agent.** The same rules cover Claude Code, Codex, OpenClaw, Hermes and your own agents.
- **See every tool call.** The audit log records every call Antigravity makes, and who approved it.

## Before you start

You'll need:

- **Antigravity on macOS or Linux.** The plugin doesn't work on Windows.
- **A withHuman organization** you can connect agents to.
- **Approval rules** for its calls. See [Set up approval pipelines](/docs/getting-started/set-up-approval-pipelines).

## 1. Install the plugin

Download the plugin and install it:

```bash
git clone --depth 1 https://github.com/withHumanAI/withHuman /tmp/withhuman-plugin
agy plugin install /tmp/withhuman-plugin
```

Antigravity keeps its own copy, so you can delete `/tmp/withhuman-plugin` afterwards. Until you connect it in step 2, the plugin doesn't check any calls.

## 2. Connect it to withHuman

Install the withHuman CLI and connect Antigravity:

```bash
curl -fsSL https://downloads.withhuman.ai/install.sh | sh -s -- agent install antigravity
```

The CLI opens your browser. Sign in, check the organization and agent, and select **Connect instance**. For a self-hosted deployment, add `--url https://approvals.example.com` with your deployment's address. See [CLI enrollment](/docs/web-app/agents#cli-enrollment) for the other options.

Start a new Antigravity conversation to use the plugin.

## What to expect

Every tool call goes to withHuman before it runs. Calls your rules approve run at once. Calls that need a person wait in the [Review queue](/docs/web-app/review-queue) for up to a week. Keep the conversation open while a call waits.

Antigravity's own permissions still apply, so an approved call may still ask you to allow it in Antigravity.

On hosted withHuman, the plugin also adds the [MCP Gateway](/docs/web-app/mcp-gateway) as an MCP server, so Antigravity can use the tools you grant your agent there.

## Check it works

Start Antigravity and ask it to run a harmless command your rules send to a person:

```text
Run the shell command: echo hello from withHuman
```

The call waits, and the request appears in the Review queue. Approve it and check the command runs. Try again and deny it to check the call is blocked.

## Security and footprint

- **Sends:** each tool call's name and arguments to your withHuman organization.
- **Stores:** nothing in Antigravity. The withHuman CLI keeps its connection in its own configuration directory.
- **Runs:** the `withhuman` CLI, once for each tool call. It sees only the environment variables it needs, never your other API keys.
- **Downloads:** a pinned version of the withHuman CLI from downloads.withhuman.ai, on the first tool call. The plugin checks it against a checksum it ships with.
- **Adds to Antigravity:** the `withhuman-gateway` MCP server and the `withhuman`, `withhuman-cli` and `withhuman-pipelines` skills. Removing the plugin removes them.

## Update or remove

Update the plugin by downloading and installing it again:

```bash
rm -rf /tmp/withhuman-plugin
git clone --depth 1 https://github.com/withHumanAI/withHuman /tmp/withhuman-plugin
agy plugin install /tmp/withhuman-plugin
```

Remove the connection, then the plugin:

```bash
withhuman agent eject antigravity
agy plugin uninstall withhuman
```

Removing the connection doesn't revoke the instance. If you won't use it again, revoke it on the agent's **Instances** tab.

## Troubleshooting

- **Calls run without approval:** Check that `withhuman agent discover` shows Antigravity connected, that `agy plugin list` shows `withhuman` enabled, and that you started a new conversation.
- **An approved command still stops in `agy -p`:** Print mode can't ask for your permission, so it refuses commands your Antigravity settings don't already allow. Add an allow rule, or run the task interactively.
- **Every call is denied because the credential was refused:** The instance may have been revoked, or the agent archived or disabled. Run `withhuman agent install antigravity` again to reconnect.
- **Every call is denied because the withHuman CLI couldn't be downloaded:** The plugin downloads the version it needs on first use from `downloads.withhuman.ai`. Check your network and try again.
- **On Windows, every call is blocked:** The plugin needs macOS or Linux. Uninstall it with `agy plugin uninstall withhuman`.
